When I tried the whipped goat cheese at Rye Leawood, I couldn’t get the thought of it out of my mind after. It is so good! Thankfully it’s easy to recreate at home and is the easiest appetizer to whip up (get it?) for company.

Just four ingredients (goat cheese, heavy cream, honey and salt) combine to make THE BEST appetizer. Serve it with crusty bread, sour dough, crostini or crackers.

Don’t let the thought of goat cheese scare you like it did me. It’s smooth, mild and pairs amazing with honey and crusty bread.

Whipped Goat Cheese & Honey

Ingredients

• 4 ounces goat cheese

• 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream

• 1 tablespoon honey + extra for drizzling

• Pinch of salt

Directions

• Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
• Place mixture into a small bowl.
• Drizzle additional honey over the top.
• Serve with crusty bread.
