WHAT’S FOR DINNER | WEEKLY MEAL IDEAS
06/06/2022Let’s play What’s for Dinner Q&A this week since I get a lot of the same questions over and over.
- Do you always make everything you plan? No, we don’t always make it through everything as planned. But having a pre-planned menu does help encourage me to cook instead of using the excuse that I don’t know what to make.
- Do you ever eat out? Yes, occasionally when it gets too busy to cook or I’m just lazy. But for the most part, I cook most nights.
- Do you eat pre-packaged or frozen foods? Rarely. Mostly because I’m picky and don’t like many of the frozen food options. I’m guilty of cooking more frozen/boxed meals when the kids were younger, things were busier and I was more tired. Wait, I’m still tired.
- Do you eat leftovers? Me? Not so much. There are only certain dishes I like as leftovers. The rest of the family, yes, for lunch or when I’m not home to cook. I’ve also learned with one child moved out and one not always home in the evenings to cut most recipes in half so we don’t always have leftovers.
- Do you enjoy cooking? Most of the time, not really. I do it out of necessity. Occasionally it’s fun to try new recipes.
