Studies have shown that flowers can aide in one’s higher sense of enjoyment and life satisfaction. So why not keep them around the house as much as possible? We’re coming into summer where we can easily grow our own. If growing your own isn’t for you, try Target, Trader Joe’s or the grocery store for inexpensive options. Lately, I’ve been buying a bouquet and then splitting it up into smaller bouquets which I place around the house. It’s like a happy little surprise in each room. I thought I would share a round-up of my favorite vases I’ve been using lately.

Of course I had to have this mushroom vase when I saw it. I got mine from Home Goods. Amazon has the same one in different colors for the same price. Wal-Mart has all different varieties of mushroom vases.

Seeing it with the daisies just makes me happy and it screams spring/summer.

I guess I’m digging unusual vases right now. How fun is this hand vase?

I paired my hand vase with this vintage cut-glass bud vase that was my grandma’s. You can find similar vintage vases at antique stores.

Here is another unusual vase. Bust planters are big right now. This face vase is fun, too.

I like these vases because they are small and don’t take too many flowers to fill them up while making a huge statement.

It fits right in in my daughter’s room.

Of course, a good ‘ol’ cylinder vase or glass works perfectly fine, too. Use whatever you have. The flowers are the real star of the show anyway. Make yourself happy and buy yourself some flowers!
