This winter I’ve realized that some of my favorite things are items that make me happy and bring me comfort during these long, dark, cold, dreary, yucky, icky winter months. If i could purchase sunshine and warm temperatures, they would be at the tip top of my favorites list. Since that’s not possible, these things will help pass the time until spring.

Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite things this January. I’m not a social media influencer. I don’t make money from promoting anything. These are just a few things I’m loving right now. I thought I would share in the event your valentine needed any ideas of things they might want to surprise you with next month. ♡

Essential Oil Diffuser // It makes me happy, it smells good, the light fills the void that used to be the twinkle of Christmas lights, and the humidity makes my skin and plants happy. You’ll find at least one going at any given time in my house. It’s the little things that make home extra cozy.

Makeup Mirror // I put off getting this forever telling myself it wasn’t a necessity. The mirror in my bathroom worked just fine. Then I had a bad day or something and decided I needed to treat myself. Let me tell you, this makeup mirror was 100% worth the splurge. The bright lights help my old eyes better see how I’m applying my daily war paint. Something about sitting in front of that mirror makes the two things that I dislike most in this world just a little more tolerable – mornings and winter.

Towel Warmer // Until a recent episode of the Real Housewives of something I had no idea these things ever existed. I AM A LEGIT HOUSEWIFE NOW and absolutely never plan to step out of my (1980s tiny) shower without a heated bath towel again! Double bonus, it heats my bath robe, too. Don’t be jealous of my fabulousness.

Hair Claw Clips // Bring back the 90s, baby! There was nothing better than pulling my Jennifer Aniston haircut back into one of these and I’m here for them again in 2022. The hair style I’ll leave back in the 90s.

Monogram Mug // Do I drink coffee? No. But I still appreciate a pretty mug when I’m cold and try to force down a cup of hot tea. Plus, It’s Me, ChristyB. How could I not get a “B” mug?

Plant Food Fertilizer // House plants make me happy so I need to keep them happy. A couple of drops in the watering can and my plants grow as fast as I did during the COVID lockdown.
