I picked up this Halloween skull decoration at Target recently (along with way too many other things). When I saw it, my mind began racing with all the ways it could be used. It is intended to be a candle holder which is cute.

But what about making it a tissue holder? Just open a box of tissues, fold the stack in half and stick the tissues inside the skull. This trick can be done with decorative bowls and baskets, too.

I also pictured making the skull into a vase for dried florals. I save my old Bath & Body Works candle jars once the candles are gone. They come in handy for all sorts of things. I had a brown jar that fit perfectly in the skull making his eyes holes look black. I found the black baby’s breath at Home Goods last year that worked great for a simple arrangement in the skull.

I can’t pick a favorite. Now I think I need two more skulls so I don’t have to choose.
