RING IN SPRING WITH HOMEMADE POUND CAKE

The sun is shining, the weather is getting warmer. The time is right to bake my favorite homemade pound cake recipe. It is seriously THE BEST pound cake recipe. It is all I can do not to pick the yummy, crumbly top off of the entire cake before anyone else realizes I baked dessert. Don’t be intimidated by the recipe. It’s really very simple to make though it is time consuming due to the mixing time required. You will definitely want to have a stand mixer for this recipe. But the mixer does all the work, you just add the ingredients. The final result is totally worth it!
Add fresh strawberries and freshly whipped cream and you have the perfect Easter dessert. Just don’t lick the spoon and keep using it if you’re going to serve it to your friends and family. 🙂
