Happy April. Is it safe to say we made it through the winter yet? I certainly hope so! I have actually gotten an early start prepping the garden for once. I’m itching to get things planted but that would certainly bring back winter so I’m patiently waiting a few more weeks. Fresh veggies from the garden are the absolute best. My mouth is watering in anticipation. With the exception of Monday’s Meatballs with Brown Gravy which comes from the Keto Comfort Foods cookbook, this week’s dinner ideas can be found in the Simply Keto cookbook so, unfortunately, no recipe links this week. But you can always find similar recipes online. Enjoy the warm weather this week and don’t get blown away by the wind. Spring is in the air. Or at least it’s in our kitchen where the air isn’t 40 degrees. This is why I love neutral colored rooms. I can add decor for any season/holiday and the colors coordinate perfectly. I was antique shopping this past weekend and noticed these exact $5 Target bunnies for sale at multiple places for $9 and $12 each. Glad I found mine in the dollar spot and not at the antique store. Yes, I needed these cute flower coffee spoons. No, I don’t drink coffee. Still going strong with the moss after St. Patrick’s Day. I added it to a ramekin, nestled in an DIY eggshell candle (coming soon) and its instant spring. The plant may be faux but I can still smell the lavender. All you need is a little essential oil. HOMEMADE DOG TREATS

I have wanted to make healthier homemade dog treats for our pups for awhile now. Our dogs are, should we say, on the plump side. The black one is just plain lazy and the brown one has a thyroid issue so it’s not all her fault. I feel better about giving them a daily healthy treat over pre-made with who knows what in them. An Instagram ad for personalized silicone dog treat molds sucked me in and got me because look how cute these personalized dog treats are. It took no time at all to whip up the first batch of healthy treats for Daisy Mae and Emmie Lou. While they site has different sized molds, I like the small ones for just a little tasty treat here and there while we try to help the girls watch their figures.
