WHAT’S IN MY TOOLBOX
03/28/2023
I present to you my toolbox. It’s mine and mine alone. No one else may so much as open a drawer. Everything has a place and if something is missing so help me. Yes, I ask for tools for holidays. Some are hand-me-down. They aren’t fancy but they do the job for me. Before, I could never find a tape measure or screw driver when I needed one. I didn’t want to traipse down to the barn at 9:00pm at night in my pjs and no bra when I decided it was time to hang something on the wall. And I certainly didn’t want to wait until the next day when someone could help me. I wanted my tools in one location that no one else could take off with and not put back. Now, thanks to my latest gift, I have a shiny new toolbox to house them....

HEY, YA’LL | UPDATED OFFICE WALL
03/23/2023
Welcome to the newest update to my office wall. Dolly, disco balls and plant propagation. “I’m obsessed”, said in my most annoying influencer voice. Remember when I made this disco ball garland? I can’t take it down. I took cuttings from my existing plants to propagate in water and create new future plant babies. One can never have enough plants. They are kind of like tattoos; very addicting. The propagation tubes come with hangers that stick directly into drywall. I opted to hang them with clear 3M hooks so they can easily be moved. Love your house, ya’ll. Don’t worry about trends. Just use what makes you happy. Previous office walls: Christmas // Valentine’s // Halloween // Fall

IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING!
03/20/2023
You have no idea how incredibly excited I am that today is the first day of spring. I am beyond ready to get back outside and get my hands in the dirt. My back patio WILL get finished this summer and I’ll be spending my evenings writing my blog posts in the hammock. I can’t wait! Until the back patio is done, you’ll find me sitting in my rockers on the front porch. I was so excited to get outside, I spent the 45 degree Sunday cleaning the porch and sprucing it up a bit for spring. The dead grasses will soon be cut back for the new green to sprout. Until then, I added faux green with an Easter vibe to the front porch. Last year (and several years before that) I used yellow forsythia in my big urn planter. This year I changed it up and went...
