The annuals are planted and my potting bench is dressed for summer. I opted to go with mostly purple and green foliage in my pots this year versus flowering annuals. I painted my terra cotta strawberry pot black this year and added succulents instead of strawberries. I love their variation of colors. Until the back porch remodel is complete, my mosquito deterrent pot will live on the potting bench. The pansies planted back in March are still hanging on. Once the heat takes over, I’ll remove them from the mix. I enjoy being able to display my collection of terra cotta pots instead of storing them away in the garage.
