HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY CAKE DONUTS
07/12/2023
I’m not a huge breakfast fan … unless donuts are involved. If there are donuts, I’ll be at the table every morning anxiously awaiting breakfast; preferably around 9:00am, please. My daughter takes after her mother and enjoys baking all the sugary things. She recently made these strawberry donuts. I didn’t have a full-size donut pan so she used a mini pan instead. They turned out adorable. And they’re good for you, too, right? They have fresh strawberries on them. To be 100% honest, they are glorified strawberry cake for breakfast. Which in my opinion is the best time to eat cake.
I have this thing where I grow flowers in my garden with hopes of cutting stems for bouquets to...
CRAFT ROOM REVEAL | FLOORS & WALLS
07/03/2023
It’s been a long six years (six years and three months to be exact) since we moved and my craft stuff has been packed away in boxes waiting for the day we remodeled the basement. The time has FINALLY come. The first room (almost) complete in the basement is my craft room. I had an awesome space in the basement of our last house for all my craft items. I’m excited to make this space even better. This is where we started. During. It looks spacious but I’m afraid it’s going to be filled to the brim as soon as I start moving stuff into the room. My floral storage...

RED, WHITE & BLUE SPAGHETTI NOODLES
06/29/2023
I’m not even a kid and I think red, white and blue noodles are so fun! We are absolutely having these for dinner this weekend to celebrate Independence Day. The process only takes a few minutes longer than making regular ‘ol boring noodles. Just divide the cooked noodles equally into three gallon-sized Ziploc bags. Add food coloring and water to two of the three bags and olive oil to the “white” bag of noodles. See full printable recipe below. I used spaghetti noodles but any type of noodle should work. Think red, white and blue fettuccini, red, white and blue buttered noodles or red, white and blue pasta salad. How fun!
Back in the day before 911, when regular citizens could purchase and set off commercial fireworks, we had a...
