PINE TREE HOSTA GARDEN SITTING AREA

In the front yard under the pine trees is the beginnings of my vision of a bed full of hostas. Perfectly shaded with just enough speckled light. The ideal setting for hostas. My office window looks out to this view. I knew it had potential to be a cute area of the yard. So this past weekend I picked up the sticks, pulled the weeds and set out to create a new little outdoor seating area amid the pine trees and hostas. I also refreshed my grapevine wreath bird feeder for the summer. The spring version had run it’s course. PEANUT BUTTER + BANANA FROZEN DOG TREATS

It’s hot outside and my spotted puppy girls don’t enjoy the heat. They are also a bit on the chunky side so healthy snacks are best. And what dog doesn’t love peanut butter? Using ingredients I had on hand, I whipped up some frozen peanut butter and banana dog treats for the dog days of summer. We typically always have bananas on hand in our house. Occasionally, a few start to turn brown before we can eat them. When that happens, I usually pop them in the freezer to use later for banana bread or smoothies. This time I pulled out a couple bananas from the freezer for these homemade dog treats. The main ingredients are 2 bananas and 1/4 cup peanut butter.
