SUMMER AROUND THE YARD

I realized recently that I take photos at the beginning of spring when the plants are fresh and new but never remember to take photos mid-summer when things are at their peak. Let’s pretend it’s a couple of weeks ago when I finally remembered to grab these photos and we’ll take a tour around the yard. This is what you see as you drive by. We’ll start as if we are walking up the sidewalk to the front door. This is the first year I planted the elephant ears and hyacinth bean vine here. MASTER CLOSET MOOD BOARD

We finally finished the outdoor project for the summer. Now we’re on to one of the existing projects inside. Our clothes have been located upstairs in the spare bedroom for the last two months. It’s time to get this bedroom turned master closet finished! This was our original master closet. It was about six feet long by five feet wide with two hanging racks on each side. While we’ve had smaller in the past, this one was always packed pretty full. The room across the hall was one of five bedrooms in the house. It was originally my office. When our son moved out, I moved my office into his old room in order to make this space our new laundry/master closet.
