THANKSGIVING / FALL KITCHEN SHELVES

I’m still in fall mode over here enjoying this view each time I walk into the kitchen. I removed the Halloween items, left the rest in place and added a few more fall touches. The leaf print is a digital download I found on Etsy and had printed in a 10″x10″ size on foamboard. No frame needed. It’s an inexpensive way to add seasonal touches that is easily stored away in the off season. This will be the first year to decorate these DIY gallery rail shelves for Christmas. That’s up next. But right now I’m still enjoying the fall.

How can it be that October 31st is already here? And why am I getting sentimental that our time with Blake Skelton has come to an end? It’s been fun watching what he’s been up to during his stay. There has been someone sketchy hanging around our house. Looks like maybe he broke out of the local jail. Turns out he’s not scary at all. It’s just Blake Skelton ready to hand out Halloween candy to the trick-or-treaters. He’s got the good stuff! Hoping plenty of ‘lil ghosts and goblins stop by tomorrow on Halloween.
