WHAT’S FOR DINNER | WEEKLY MEAL IDEAS
11/26/2023
Welcome to holiday eating season. Soups, casseroles, homemade breads and sweet treats galore. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Why did we plan a trip to Mexico in January? I’m starting to think that wasn’t such a good idea. Oh well. I’m not missing out on the holiday comfort foods and I’m certainly not missing out on Mexico in the middle of snow season! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed a leftover-filled weekend with no cooking. Unfortunately, the leftovers are gone here so back to cooking dinners this week. Here is what we have on our dinner menu. Recipe links are included if you want to try some of the meal ideas yourself. Have a good week ahead! RECORD PLAYER + VINTAGE CHRISTMAS RECORDS
11/16/2023

I guess you could say I’m a bit sentimental this time of year. This specific record makes me feel twelve years old again playing in the basement. You can bet I will be listening to this while I’m decorating my own Christmas tree this year. Other additions to my new old...

FALL FENCE | SCARECROW PUMPKIN PATCH
11/10/2023
It’s hard to photograph this fence and avoid getting the light pole and electric panel in the photos. That’s because this fence was built primarily to help hide the ugly stuff behind. In the summer it’s full of vines and wild flowers and is beautiful. Late fall and winter, not so much. To dress it up a bit I moved the scarecrows and pumpkins from the garden to the fence and made their own little pumpkin patch. We’re hanging on to the last bits of fall just like my cornstalks are hanging on from the deer snacking on them.
I’m still in fall mode over here enjoying this view each time I walk into the kitchen. I removed...
