OUTDOOR CHRISTMAS TABLE
12/04/2023A few weeks ago we put away all the patio furniture for the winter. The new back patio was bare awaiting the winter snow. I wished I had a table that could be left out all winter but didn’t want to chance ruining our teak dining table and chairs.
Apparently I manifested the perfect table to sit out all winter. My son brought over this table that was left in an old shed he tore down at his house. It has one leg shorter than the other, holes drilled in the top and grease stains but…I absolutely love it!
It was just begging for an outdoor tablescape. With a little Christmas magic of old cheap garland, fallen tree branches, pine cones from the yard and cheap votive candles collected over the years, I love it even more.
I’m really looking for ways to beat the winter blues this season. One thing I’m trying is to get outside in the fresh air every day, even when it’s cold. A hot cup of tea in a cute Santa mug at my ugly, gorgeous old table makes it more bearable.
The fire pit helps, too.
Pretty cute for using old items pulled from around the house. The only thing new here are the berry lights I got on sale from Terrain.
Santa mug is one of a set from Pottery Barn.
I love sitting here looking out to the barn decked out for Christmas with the 8-foot Santa waiving at passersby while I dream up what will go into the garden next spring.
The view from my kitchen window is now perfection. All thanks to an ugly, gorgeous discarded table decorated for Christmas. ♡
