Today I have a breakfast idea for all the moms or dads that don’t have time to be Martha Stewart but want to make fun memories for their kids. Simply grab a box of Lucky Charms from the grocery store. Then pour a glass of milk and add a few drops of green food coloring. Let the kids pour the green milk over the cereal for a special St. Patrick’s breakfast treat.

Take it up one more notch by cutting out a few shamrocks and/or gold coins and sprinkling them on the table. Or add a shamrock placemat. I got mine at At Home but it’s not sold online. I linked a similar one below for a few more dollars on sale at Kohl’s.

A simple bowl of Lucky Charms with green milk will send your kids off to school with a fun memory to share with their friends.
