HOMEMADE SHAMROCK LOLLIPOPS
03/07/2023Need a treat idea for a party? Looking for a unique after school snack for St. Patrick’s Day? These shamrock lollipops are too cute, easy to make and taste great.
You’ll need about 25 green apple Jolly Ranchers to make 8-10 suckers.
Unwrap the Jolly Ranchers, place in a Ziploc bag and crush into small pieces.
Using a shamrock lollipop mold, fill each shamrock to the top. Make sure each one is completely full so the finished lollipop is thick enough to hold the stick.
Place mold on a cookie sheet and into a 200 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until candy pieces are completely melted.
Remove from oven and immediately insert lollipop sticks. Let cool completely before removing lollipops from the mold.
To take the suckers up another notch, you can sprinkle edible gold glitter into the molds before adding the crushed candy.
Or, press edible gold leaf onto lollipops once cooled.
Plain green, glittered or gold leafed; however made, they are a fun treat to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
