Most all of us have cookbooks, spices, cutting boards and some sort of fruit or veggie in our kitchen. Why not use them as decor until ready to cook with them?

Put spices into cute jars. Pull out cookbooks that coordinate with the kitchen colors and line them up or stack them on the counter. Add warm tones with cutting boards. Store fruit or vegetables in a pretty bowl. If you have it on hand and it looks nice, put it on display.
