It’s Super Bowl week and I’m in full party planning mode. This year’s party is inspired by none-other than the Swifties. Of course I had to make a friendship bracelet banner to root on the Chiefs.
I made the “letter beads” out of a 1″ sheet of foam. A cookie cutter would have been ideal to cut the circles but mine was too small for the letters I purchased. Anything open on both ends will work so the circle of foam can be pushed out. It will be very snug.
The letters beads were completed with black stickers spelling out “Lets Go Chiefs”.
For the colored “beads”, I used play pit balls in Chiefs colors. They are very soft plastic which made it easy to thread fishing line through using a large needle. I strung the colored beads and foam beads on fishing line to complete the banner.
I layered my finished friendship bracelet banner with a football field felt pennant banner. We are ready to cheer on the Chiefs this weekend!
Mini 3M hooks made it easy to hang the banner.
