It’s finally time for a mini reveal of the new basement craft room. The room is not finished yet but just done enough to put together my floral wall storage.

I’ve always had my faux and dried florals crammed into two Dollar Store trash cans. I couldn’t tell what I had. The stems would get tangled and flowers smashed. The trash cans took up precious floor space. I am so excited to have everything out in the open and organized! I use these florals in my front porch containers and switch them out with each season/holiday.

I used 6″ pegboard hooks and floral buckets with a lip to rest on the hooks.

Here is where we started with the basement. This was torn out in 2020. The new craft room is back in that dark corner.

We finally began to put things back together in January 2023.

Walls framed. Added sheetrock. Sprayed ceilings black.

And now we’re here and I love it!

The next step in the craft room is to add wallpaper to the white sections. It will be my first time wallpapering by myself so should be interesting. I’m hoping since there are few odd angles, it won’t be too hard. The flooring I want is currently out of stock. I’m (im)patiently waiting for that to come back. Then we’ll finish off by building the workspace/desk the entire length of the room. It’s finally getting there after 6 years of my craft stuff being packed in boxes from our move.
