I like to set up a fully stocked wrapping station somewhere in my home before I get started wrapping Christmas presents. This year’s wrapping station is on the workbench in my new craft room. It’s tucked downstairs away from everyone so I can spread things out and work without fear of someone walking in and seeing their unwrapped presents.
I like to have everything out so I can see what I have. It allows me to get more creative when wrapping.
My favorite pens and pencils for signing tags are stored in this antique sugar mold.
I store wrapping paper in a cute trash can or basket. It allows me to see what you have on hand and looks festive sitting out as Christmas decor.
Keep used tinsel/icicles from previous years in a Ziploc bag. Reuse as a packaging filler for a fun surprise when opening gifts.
Another tip to keep wrapping paper rolls neat and tidy is to use clear hair elastics to secure the remaining paper on the roll.
Instead of throwing away ribbons and bows each year, save and reuse again. I do the same with gift bags and gift tags for immediate family. I’ve also been known to fold and save tissue paper that is still in good condition. No sense buying more each year.
