Last year I shared how I made a DIY varsity letter USA shirt for the 4th of July. This year I’m adding to my collection with a couple of cute fall sweatshirts. They are so simple to make with just a sweatshirt and iron-on chenille varsity letters. I have a t-shirt press which heats up to the perfect temperature to adhere the letters securely but an iron will work, too. Just make sure the letters are stuck really well and be sure to hand wash and line dry for the best long-lasting results.
I love a festive holiday shirt and I can’t wait to wear this one for Halloween. Isn’t it cute? This particular sweatshirt has pockets, too, making it even more comfy.
You know I had to make a Chiefs sweatshirt, too. This is a nice lightweight sweatshirt that is longer in the back and perfect to wear with jeans or comfy leggings. The varsity letters are KC red outlined in gold sparkles. Never met sparkles I didn’t like. This sweatshirt will get plenty of wear in the years to come. Go Chiefs!
These sweatshirts would make cute high school football team shirts for parents and seniors, too. ‘Tis the season! The possibilities are adorable and endless.
