4TH OF JULY PAINTED YARD STARS
06/27/2023Back in the day before 911, when regular citizens could purchase and set off commercial fireworks, we had a 4th of July party every year and my husband set off our own big fireworks display in the open land behind our house. I wish I would have thought of these fun painted yard stars back then. Aren’t they perfect for a 4th of July party?
The best part is, they are so simple to make. Just take a large piece of cardboard and draw a star. I flattened a box from the trash. Use a box cutter to cut out the star shape. Then use the cardboard as a template to spray paint stars onto the grass. The kids will love them. Ooooh, you could even make them into a hop scotch pattern and they could jump on them. How fun!
