There is still time to order for Mother’s Day, all you fellow procrastinators. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite items that, as a mom, I have and love. Thanks to Amazon, they will be here in plenty of time for Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Magnolia Table 3 // Who doesn’t love the Magnolia Table cookbooks? A brand new one has been added to the collection. I have and cook from the first two cookbooks all the time. #3 is on my Mother’s Day wish list, as well.
Cookbook Stand // A new cookbook calls for a cookbook stand, too. It really is helpful at keeping the book open to the correct recipe while cooking and is also great for displaying said cookbook when not in use.
Permanent Jewelry // How about mother-daughter permanent bracelets? My daughter and I just got a pair yesterday. We went to Katie at DaisyChainsKC.com in Shear Perfection Salon if you’re local. Prices start at $35. I personally find it nearly impossible to clasp tiny bracelets on my wrist by myself. I love the idea of never having to take off my dainty bracelet that I wear everyday.
Glass Pot // It doesn’t matter what time of year, I love a simmer pot to keep the house smelling nice. This glass pot shows off the pretty ingredients while filling the house with delightful scents.
2-Piece Pajama Lounge Set // I own and love this lightweight knit lounge set. It is both cute and cozy. Wear it to bed and into the next day, put it on in the evening after a shower, slip it on after a day on the lake. It’s the best and comes in many colors.
Sourdough Starter Kit // Sourdough is all the rage right now. This starter kit includes everything needed to make bakery-style bread at home. Sourdough starter not included but find out how to make it from scratch in the book below.
Artisan Sourdough Made Simple // In addition to sourdough bread, there are so many other things that can be made from sourdough discard. This book is great at explaining all things sourdough in simple terms and includes recipes for sandwich bread, rolls, waffles, cookies, crackers and much more.
Hummingbird Feeder // I don’t know what it is but I get giddy when I see a humming bird flying around my feeder and flowers. Apparently it comes with age. My hummingbird feeder hangs right outside my kitchen window and provides me daily entertainment while I wash dishes.
I hope these ideas help if you’re still trying to think of just the right gift for mom or if you need to drop a few hints to your own kids of things you might like to receive.
