HAPPY MAY DAY
05/01/2023If I could, I would leave all my blog friends a bouquet of flowers on their door for May Day. I remember making May Day paper flowers in grade school then leaving them on my great-grandparent’s door, knocking and running thinking they would be surprised. To leave my blog friends May Day flowers would mean I would have to run so, unfortunately, it’s not happening. Sorry. But if I would run for you, here is a look at what I might leave at your door.
May Day marks the return of spring and the season of new growth. It is the halfway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. It’s been traditionally celebrated with dancing around a May pole, singing, fresh flowers and floral crowns.
Happy May Day to all!
