I’m really into smells throughout the house this winter. I’ll be honest, winter makes me crabby-er. To me yummy scents add to the coziness of my home and improve my winter mood. I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve always used regular store-bought cleaners. That is until I tried this thieves household cleaner recipe. Use this and your house will smell of cloves, spices and lemon. It’s amazing! And to top it off, the thieves concentrate is made with plant-based, all natural ingredients. You can literally use it on almost any surface – counters, walls, floors, to clean carpets, mirrors, appliances, highchairs – the list goes on and on. Look at me being healthy and in a better mood!!

The recipe to make the Thieves cleaner is very easy to mix up. You’ll just need a spray bottle, 1 capful of thieves concentrate, and 16 ounces distilled water. I like to add a 5-10 drops of lemon essential oil to my mixture, as well, but it’s not necessary. It helps cut down the cloves scent a touch and adds a bit of lemon that I like as we approach spring.

Shake up mixture and you’ve got the best smelling cleaner ever. At one capful at a time, the thieves concentrate will last forever. I added a cute label using an embossing label maker.
