With eight inches of snow on the ground, I’m still feeling the cozy snow day vibes. I’m not a coffee drinker but on rare occasions, I do enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate. It brings me back to the days of my mom serving us hot chocolate and toast after playing in the snow.

But if I’m going to have hot chocolate, I’m going to go all out to make it special. Which happens to be my phrase of the year. In 2024 I’m focusing on “making every day special” by appreciating the little things. Today that is adding a frozen whipped cream snowflake to my hot chocolate.
