Welcome to holiday eating season. Soups, casseroles, homemade breads and sweet treats galore. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Why did we plan a trip to Mexico in January? I’m starting to think that wasn’t such a good idea. Oh well. I’m not missing out on the holiday comfort foods and I’m certainly not missing out on Mexico in the middle of snow season!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed a leftover-filled weekend with no cooking. Unfortunately, the leftovers are gone here so back to cooking dinners this week.
