Typically I decorate more for fall with a few touches of Halloween. This year I went full Halloween. It’s a bit out of my comfort zone but why not try something new? It’s hard to decorate the mantel and keep things out of the way of the giant TV. I pushed my luck with this but we’re nearing the end of the month with not too much complaining so I think I’m in the clear.

I picked up the last few remaining black stems from Michaels, added orange twinkle lights and, of course, disco balls. I wish I had more stems for a fuller look but I think it works okay.

More sticks were used (they are everywhere in my Halloween decor this year).

Looking at the photo below, I think I should have removed the pumpkins by the fireplace. My daughter says they are fall and the mantle is Halloween. I think I agree with her. But don’t tell her that.
