I thought it would be fun to do a tour of Christmas around our home, both inside and out. Today we’ll start where I would greet you if you were to visit in person, the front porch.
I have always done greenery in the urns but this is the first year I wrapped the front porch posts and it definitely won’t be the last. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
My DIY paint-by-number Santa has made the rounds over the years from the dining room to the back patio and now the front porch. Love, love, love him.
I went a little more whimsical than usual this year with the red and green ornaments and the glittery white sprays.
I’m thrilled to have a large covered front porch. It’s so fun to decorate for the seasons.
One of my favorite spots to sit year round.
I think this year’s Christmas front porch is one of my favorites to date.
My only regret with having a large front yard is th’at no matter how much I decorate, it’s hard to see from the road. But the girls would gladly give you an up close look if you stopped by.
It’s fun during the day but might be even cuter at night. For the first time ever we changed from all white Christmas lights to red, white and green. Apparently the neighbors had the same idea because we all have the same colored lights this year. I love that everyone is so festive this time of year.
When I took these photos, I didn’t have any of the back patio dressed up for Christmas but here is a pick of the back of the house in lights, too. We’ll save the back patio and barn tours for another day. Stay tuned!
