2023 HALLOWEEN DINING ROOM TABLESCAPE
10/22/2023May I introduce you to this year’s Halloween tablescape featuring sticks and crows? Simple, rustic with just a teeny touch of spooky.
It doesn’t photograph the best but in real life, I think it’s pretty – if you can call Halloween decor “pretty”.
I bought a large box of Spanish moss and spread it on top of black creepy cloth from Dollar Tree. Four glass vases are filled with fallen sticks from the yard and a couple of crows. My antique gold candlesticks hold various black taper candles. CAUTION: Be sure candle flames are nowhere near the branches to avoid fire.
My DIY disco pumpkins made it in the mix to add a touch of glam.
There is something about the flame of real candles that is so mesmerizing.
I found this cloche at an antique store but it’s so small, I hadn’t found a use for it until now. I used an old wooden candlestick, added a bundle of Spanish moss, stuck in a black butterfly and placed the cloche on top. Spooky cute.
That’s my Halloween tablescape for this year. I’m thinking I might repurpose the sticks in a few weeks for my Thanksgiving tablescape and maybe even use them in a Christmas tree after that. Nature provides the best decor.
